Dark Circle under eyes starts showing up when your undereye skin becomes so thin which made your red color blood vessels visible from it. It is not always a sign of tiredness or dullness in your face but there could be multiple reasons for it. Have a look below:

But kindly note, these home remedies or any other chemical treatment will only be effective if you firstly understand the main reason of your dark circles and work upon that.

Home Remedies to Reduce dark circles

1. Potato

A very basic ingredient which you can easily find in your kitchen . Now, you can either blend the raw potato and make a paste of it or just take a mini slice of it. Place the slice of raw potato on your under eye area and do a gentle massage with it.

I would recommend that you blend the potato and put the paste of it under your eyes so that your skin can easily absorb the juice of it. Potato is having natural bleaching properties which can help in reducing the dark circles from your skin naturally.

2. Coffee

Take 1tbsp of coffee and mix it with oil of Vitamin E capsule (Evion Capsule). Now, place this paste on your under eye area for 10 minutes. Wash the face after it with normal tap water.

3. Cucumber

Grate the cucumber and mix 2 tbsp of raw milk into it, apply the paste under your eyes for 20 minutes and then wash your face. Repeat the process two times in a week.

4. Green Tea bags

Take the 'used' green tea bag and remove the excess of water from it. Refrigerate it. You can always keep these green tea bags in refrigerator after using them. Green tea bags are good to remove dark circles, dark spots, discoloration from your skin.

Now, take one green tea bag and keep it outside at room temperature for approximately 10 minutes to make it normal and bearable to put under eyes. Now, place it over your eyes for 30 minutes. Wash your face after that.

5. Rose Water with Almond Oil

Mix 1-2 drops of Rose water into 1tbsp of Almond Oil. Gently massage with it on your under eye area for 5 minutes. Leave it over your skin for another 10 minutes so that your skin can absorb the good amount of it. After that, take a cotton pad and remove the excess of it from your under eyes.

Other 'Tips' that you need to follow

Along with home remedies, please follow the below tips in order to reduce Dark Circles.

  • Drink Sufficient Amount of Water

  • Take proper 7-8 hours of sleep

  • Do not oversleep and try to sleep at fix time daily

  • Improve your diet and include food that are rich in Iron, Vitamin K, A & C

  • Protect your eyes from direct sun exposure

  • Quit Smoking

  • Do not intake so much caffeine products like coffee/tea

  • Relax your eyes after every 1 hour if you are continuously working over laptops/desktops
