Homemade Remedy for Muscle, Joint Pain and Weakness during Menstruation

Many women face period cramps, joint pain, back pain and weakness during their menstruation cycle. It is likely to happen due to the contractions occur in our uterus at that time.

Some of us even face severe pain, weakness and nausea that requires to take supplements/medicines to get relief.

2-3 years back, I also had this issue and my mother came up with an amazing home remedy that provided me permanent relief and cure. I would like to share the recipe to all the women out there, please have a look below:

  1. 100gm of white sesame seeds (सफेद तिल)

  2. 100gm of Fennel seeds (सौंफ)

  3. 100gm of Makhana/fox nuts (मखाने)

  4. 100gm of almonds (बादाम)

The mentioned quantity of ingredients will prepare the powder for approximately a month, you can increase/decrease the quantity based on your need. We need to take equal proportion of all the ingredients.

Preparation and Usage

Take all the ingredients in a mixer grinder and grind well. It should be like a coarsely grounded powder that can be consumed orally if a person wants to.

I always prefer to mix 1tbsp of this powder in a glass of milk and have it after my dinner but you can take it anytime of the day without milk also. I permanently replaced this homemade powder mixture with any other health drinks like Bournvita, Complan, Protinex etc. It is comparatively more healthy, homemade and has no extra sugar or preservatives added to it.

We can store this powder for a month or long by simply keeping it in a jar container.


White sesame and makhana are extremely good source of multivitamins, nutrients and minerals like calcium, zinc, iron etc. It helps in instant energy boost and provides healthy required fat to our body. Fennel seeds contains potassium that helps in blood circulation in our body and almonds are rich in protein and Vitamin E. Overall, this powder is enriched with lots of healthy substances that works as immunity booster and also, strengthen our bones.

  • अब इन सभी सामग्रियों को मिक्सर ग्राइंडर में डालकर अच्छी तरह पीस लें

  • कृपया ध्यान दें कि हमें बहुत महीन पाउडर बनाने की आवश्यकता नहीं है, यह पाउडर दरदरा जैसा होना चाहिए

  • इस चूर्ण का 1 चम्मच प्रतिदिन दूध के साथ या दूध में मिलाकर सेवन करें

  • इस पाउडर को हम जार के डिब्बे में भरकर एक महीने या उससे भी ज्यादा समय तक स्टोर कर के रख सकते हैं।

इसके लाभ

सफेद तिल और मखाना अत्यंत ही पोषक तत्वों और खनिजों से भरे हैं जैसे कैल्शियम, जिंक, आयरन आदि जो की हमारे शरीर में ऊर्जा को बढ़ाने में मदद करते है।

सौंफ में पोटेशियम होता है जो हमारे शरीर में रक्त परिसंचरण में मदद करता है और बादाम प्रोटीन और विटामिन ई से भरपूर होते हैं।
